Event: Annual Tour of Somerville
Time: Monday, May 29, all day
Place: Somerville, NJ
Details: More than 600 professional and amateur cyclists will be compete in this year’s Tour of Somerville, a 50-mile race through town. Park yourself, your friends and your family all weekend on the downtown curbs to watch the incredibly fast action, or stroll around enjoying the vendors, live music, kids activities, food stands and entertainment while the races take place around you.
Event: Wildwoods International Kite Festival
Time: May 26-29, noon-6 pm
Place: Convention Center and Beach, Wildwood, NJ
Details: Watch hundreds of colorful kites fly across the sky during a beach party. The event begins at noon with the ‘Unlocking of the Ocean’ ceremony on the beach. This is followed by more exciting events throughout the weekend, including kite workshops, team kite-flying sessions, an illuminated night kite fly and family games.
Event: Pork Roll Festival
Time: Saturday, May 27, 9 am-7 pm
Place: Downtown Trenton
Details: The 4th Annual Pork Roll Festival celebrates New Jersey’s favorite breakfast meat. Enjoy a pork roll recipe contest, live music, and the crowning of the 2017 Pork Roll Queen.

Event: Penn’s Landing Waterfront Day
Time: Sunday, May 28, all day
Details: Enjoy live music, a pop-up beer garden, and a fireworks show above the Delaware River.
Event: Independence National Historical Park
Time: May 27-28
Details: Independence National Historical Park will host a series of events to honor the nation’s veterans throughout Memorial Day weekend. Enjoy special tours, history lessons, a concert from the United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corp, military-themed Quizzo designed for the family, and more.
Event: 146th Annual Malvern Memorial Day Parade & Family Fun Day
Time: Sunday, June 4, 1:30
Place: Malvern, PA
Details: Enjoy live music, antique war vehicles, floats, fire trucks, and the annual parade procession dedicated to those who served the country. After the parade, join the community for family fun featuring face painting, races, and Malvern’s Memorial Cake Walk.
San Francisco Bay Area
Time: May 27-28, 10 am-6 pm
Place: San Francisco, Harrison between 16th and 24th Streets
Details: The Mission District will transform for the 39th annual Carnaval San Francisco. Traditions from Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico, West Africa, Cuba, and Guatemala collide at California’s largest outdoor multicultural celebration. This year’s theme is El Corazon de San Pancho, the heart of San Francisco. Enjoy food, music, dance, arts, crafts, and a lively parade.
Event: Pier Pressure SF Cruise – Memorial Day Yacht Party
Time: Sunday, May 28, check-in begins at 3:30 pm
Place: SB 40 Restaurant – Pier 40
Details: All aboard the Cabernet Sauvignon Mega Yacht. Enjoy a 3-hour cruise with spectacular views of Treasure Island, Alcatraz, The Bay Bridge, Nob Hill, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the San Francisco Skyline with live DJ entertainment.
Event: Giants Games
Time: May 26-29
Place: AT&T Park
Details: The San Fracisco Giants will be playing at home all Memorial Day Weekend – the Atlanta Braves Friday through Sunday, and then the Nationals on Monday. The first 20,000 fans inside the ballpark on Monday will receive a free Memorial Day cooler bag presented by PG&E.
